From their humble beginnings on Fortune Place with 3 employees and 5,000 square feet of space to a 40,000 square foot complex in the heart of Melbourne Florida’s Industrial district, Claudia has been the beacon that lead the way.
Dave Astolfi, Owner/President
Dave Astolfi began his moving career in high school during the late 70’s in Greenwich Ct. He remained in the business and worked through college and a 4 year term in the armed forces in Southern Ca. After deciding not to make a career out of the military he returned to Ct. and resumed his full time passion for the moving and storage business.
In 1987 he made a lifetime commitment and relocated to Florida and became one of the original owners of Florida Moving Systems Inc. located in Melbourne Fl. This combination of experience and long term commitment to the moving industry has earned him the longtime trust and loyalty of countless clients and customers enabling him to win numerous awards and honors throughout his career.
Dave currently resides in Melbourne Beach Fl.
Dave is also a longtime active member and past President of the Rotary International of Melbourne Beach Club and works with many national and local charities and organizations.

Dave has been a member of the Florida Moving Systems family since 2007 and is truly an asset to the family. He is a Melbourne FL native and has 30 years of logistics and warehouse experience. He handles our High Value Product shipping as well as our warehouse for the many clients that use Florida Moving Systems for their industrial warehousing needs.
Carol Sowers, Accountant
Carol Sowers has been the bookkeeper for Florida Moving Systems since January 1994. Her duties include all responsibility for Accounts Receivable (invoicing), Accounts Payable (A/P checks), processing Payroll and producing a balance sheet & profit and loss monthly. She also serves as a liaison for the owners between financial institutions, various organizations and customers.
